End-User Licence Agreement

Effective date: 17 October 2026 · Version 1.1

This End-User Licence Agreement governs your use of the TritonChores mobile app. It supplements, and does not replace, the Terms of Use.

1. Acknowledgement

This licence is between you and TritonApps only, not with Apple or Google. TritonApps alone is responsible for the app and its content.

If you downloaded the app from the App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, to the extent it is not inconsistent with this licence.

2. Scope of licence

You are granted a non-transferable licence to use the app on any device you own or control, as permitted by the usage rules of the store you obtained it from. You may not redistribute it, rent it out, reverse-engineer it except where law permits, or remove any proprietary notice.

3. Price and TritonChores Plus subscription

Free plan. The app is free to download and every feature works on the free plan, which is limited to one household and up to 15 active chores you have created (chores not yet completed). Completed chores do not count towards the limit.

TritonChores Plus. Plus is an optional auto-renewing subscription that removes both limits. Nothing else is locked behind it. It is offered as a monthly or a yearly plan. Prices vary by country and store, and the current price, billing period and any trial are shown in the app before you confirm a purchase. On the App Store, Plus can be shared through Apple Family Sharing.

Billing. Plus is bought through the App Store or Google Play, and payment is charged to your store account when you confirm the purchase (or when any free trial ends). Payments are processed by Apple or Google, not by TritonApps, and TritonApps never sees your card details.

Free trial. New subscribers may be offered a 7-day free trial; the store decides who is eligible. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription starts and you are charged. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.

Auto-renewal. The subscription renews automatically at the same price for the same period unless you cancel it. On the App Store, auto-renewal must be turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends. On Google Play, you must cancel before the end of the current billing period.

Cancelling and managing. On iPhone or iPad, go to Settings → your name → Subscriptions (or your App Store account → Subscriptions). On Android, open Google Play → your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Plus stays active until the end of the period you have paid for. Deleting your TritonChores account or the app does not cancel the subscription. Restore Purchases is available on the subscription screen and in Settings → TritonChores Plus.

When Plus ends. Nothing you have created is removed. If you are over a free-plan limit, you can keep using every group and chore you already have; you just cannot create another group or another active chore until you are back under the limit or subscribe again.

Refunds. Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google under their own refund policies, because they took the payment. No refund or credit is given for a partially used subscription period, except where required by applicable law. Nothing in this licence affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Price changes. If the price of Plus changes, the store will notify you in advance as its rules require, and where required will ask for your consent before the new price applies.

4. Account required

The app requires an account, and a household’s data is shared among its members. See the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy.

5. Maintenance and support

TritonApps is solely responsible for support. Apple and Google have no obligation to provide it. Email support@tritonapps.com.

6. Consent to data handling

You agree that TritonApps may process technical and account data as described in the Privacy Policy, in order to run the Service.

7. Termination

This licence ends if you breach its terms. On termination you must stop using the app and remove it from your devices.

8. External services

The app relies on third-party services, including Supabase, a push-notification service and RevenueCat (subscription validation). TritonApps is not responsible for their availability, and their content is not endorsed by TritonApps.

9. Warranty disclaimer

The app is provided without warranty to the fullest extent permitted by law. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price if any; Apple has no other warranty obligation. Any other claims are TritonApps’ responsibility.

10. Claims and intellectual property

TritonApps is responsible for addressing any claim relating to the app, including product liability, legal compliance and consumer protection claims, and for investigating and defending any claim that the app infringes a third party’s intellectual property rights.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TritonApps’ liability is limited as set out in the Terms of Use.

12. Apple and Google as third-party beneficiaries

Apple and Google, and their subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of this licence and may enforce it against you.

13. Export compliance

You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a relevant embargo, and are not on a prohibited-parties list.

14. Governing law

This licence is governed by the laws of Ireland.
